1. Submit your design (here's how). And by your design, we mean that you will still own and retain intellectual property rights over it. Bagstab has your permission to sell and use (for marketing, demonstrations, etc) for any one length of time.
2. The community votes and comments on your design
3. The best designs get printed and are sold at the Bagstab Shop.
4. If your design is selected, you will be paid a minimum of 12% of the design's monthly gross sales via Paypal each month for as long as your design is being sold at the Store.

5. The more bags you sell, the higher the royalty rate (see table below).

The rights of the artist

Through comments and feedback received from artist/designers, professional or amateur, we have found that so long as the creator of the designs can keep the rights to their creation, whereby they can do whatever they please with the art while at the same time, if selected, be sold by and at Bagstab.net as art on bags, everyone wins. We at Bagstab are happy to not have to deal with exclusive rights and neither does the artist/designer have to fear giving up their property. Some then may question why not make the royalty rate equal (50/50). This is because of expenses incurred to market and maintain the program as well as the production cost. Do understand that the whole objective of Bagstab is to create a place where anyone can find great art on bags as oppose to the mundane corporate designs.

Instead of restricting ourselves to a few designers, why not open it to anyone in the world?

So as you submit or shop or vote at Bagstab, look around and see if you see a way for us to improve as we are always open to ideas.
